Another New Building Vessel Joined the Fleet MV “PILECKI” finished its Online Handover Ceremony | |||||||

On 20th April, CHIPOLBROK held online handover ceremony for its new vessel MV “PILECKI”, which is the 3rd 62000 DWT new building vessel, and also the largest-dwt multi-purposed heavy lift vessel in the world.
Main leaders attended the online ceremony, signed handover documents and expressed best wishes to its sailing.
On the ceremony, attendees watched videos to review construction of the new vessel, and Zhu Dezhang, the Managing Director expressed his gratitude to long-time coordination with all parties contributing to punctual delivery of the vessel.
The vessel is equipped with an LOA of 199.9m, a breadth of 32.26m, a depth of 19.3m, a full draft of 11.3m, service speed of 14.4 knots, and deadweight of 62,000. 62,000 DWT type vessels are equipped with 4 deck cranes, combined capacity of 300 tons, which can meet requirements of all kinds of heavy lift cargo, container, pulp and all kinds of solid bulk cargo. It should be highly valued that this vessel’s EEDI index meets Phase3, emission of NOx meets requirement of TierⅢ, and emission of SOx meets the newest standard. MV “PILECKI” is not only in low-carbon emission, but also has advanced design and excellent suitability, contributing to better service for clients.
The vessel will sail to Shanghai Port and load full set of equipment exported to largest African vaccine factory in Morocco. For now Shanghai authority is devoting to epidemic prevention, CHIPOLBROK is coordinating with all parties to overcome any challenge to ensure cargo can be delivered on time. | |||||||
