Recently, the situation of epidemic prevention has become grim in Shanghai. According to arrangement of our company, Shipping Division is formulating scheme to operate business and liner service smoothly, including job rotation, which forms into a system giving consideration to both epidemic prevention and business. Shipping Division responds to issues as soon as possible by 24-hour working in office and working from home.

ENSURE LINER SERVICE

In period of epidemic prevention, many vessels in CHIPOLBROK are put into liner service and plan to load containers, project cargo and heavy-lift cargo. Recently, there are many enquiries from clients, such as sailing schedule, condition of cargo in port, etc.

Shipping Division works together to ensure quality of liner service by close coordination with business partners, including communicating with ports authority to getting cargo and documents ready on arrival of vessel for clients, and exchanging information with agents & land transportation authority. After hard work, liner service is carried on as planned.

In addition, Shipping Division makes arrangement for arrival of vessel in Shanghai Port to reduce waiting time and ensure efficiency. Vessels such as “ADAM ASNYK” and “CHIPOLBROK GALAXY” has arrived at Waigaoqiao Terminal since 2^nd, April, and take less than 12 hours to complete loading/discharging and lashing, which contributes to stability of global supply chain.

EMPHASIS ON BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE

From March to April, there is 20 voyages in far-east area, and call in over 60 ports. To ensure operation efficiency of vessels, Operating Department assigns captains to major domestic ports to instruct operation after arrival.

Team members in Shipping Division communicate with each other online and offline. Europe-Med Department and Logistics Department arrange staff working in office for 24 hours, following up vessels, operating online business, ensuring that information can be exchanged efficiently.

Recently Shipping Division is carrying out Whole Logistics Project - lithium battery Project in North America, and trying to help clients relieve pressure of cargo delivery due to epidemic situation. Shipping Division coordinates with port land transportation authority and communicates with local team offline for weeks, strongly accelerating process of the project.
